Why Sufis are not approved from the Islamic Spirituality
Sufism is a wider term used for covering many of the societal, Philosophical, and literary phenomena which has taken place in Western Spirituality. In a limited sense it refers to many different mysterious and philosophical schools in Islam that have expedited the growth of Islamic society and the various expressions of piety found throughout the Islamic spirituality. Other definitions employed by contemporary scholars include definitions such as intensification of Islamic spirituality, religion and practice meant to realize the spiritual and ethical ideals of Islam.
Sufism is known as purity of spirit in Quran. Scholars who Have studied Quran extensively were mindful of the connotation of this Surah Ashurah 26:88-89, which says that neither the toddlers nor the wealth of a person will enable him to prosper, but just those that approach Allah with purified heart will flourish. Sufi leaders have led the Muslims in coping the issues faced by the theological establishment and in other times, they’ve served as charismatic and scholastic leaders and they have acted as judges and theologians in issues related to Islamic Spirituality.
Where Sufism started?
The beginning of Sufism can be tracked back to first century After the creation of Islam.It has been an informal personal piety movement that highlighted asceticism, prayer, and withdrawal from the society. The word Sufism originated from the trend of wool, which will be’suf’ in Arabic.It can also have originated from the Arabic term for innocence, which will be’safa’.Most of those oldest Sufis had spent their day in prayers or in self-meditation and night time in prayer exercises related to Islamic Spirituality.
