Eliminate is the wrong word. They simply didn't re-implement them, yet. If they could have with keeping the same development period they'd have.
You think that they took the Animal Crossing Bells 3DS code for Animal Crossing New Leaf, copy and pasted it to get New Horizons for your switch, and then deleted code?
Thats not how software development works. They needed to make the vast majority of the game from the bottom up. Developers were not spending time removing attributes, they were spending some time adding features.
The group that really does AC did Splatoon and Splatoon 2, and additionally updated New Leaf using the welcome amiibo update which was substantial. It's not like they did nothing but make New Horizons for 7 years.
And I think you are misunderstanding my remark. I didn't indicate they did nothing but develop NH for 7 decades. That's obviously obviously based on the finished product. I was marginally making the opposite statement actually. That it's odd that the game feels half baked given they had seven years involving titles, even with some of the group on other endeavors.
I really like NH but it's the very first animal crossing game I have beaten regarding paying off my house before we even got to autumn.
Now money is futile so the loop is broken.
I haven't loaded it up in ~4 weeks and whenever I think about it I do not really understand what I would accomplish inside.
